On Jun. 22, 2010, Byron was arrested and charged with the following charges.
- Byron Sonne was arrested June 22, 2010 in his home in the Forest Hill neighborhood of Toronto.
- Byron's wife Kristen was arrested on: June 24, 2010
- All charges against Kristen were dismissed at the start of the preliminary inquiry.
